Jennifer discovered the magic of creating glamour as an event assistant at the elegant and exclusive Davidoff of Geneva boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. She hosted countless celebrity dinners and special events in “The Keep”, the boutique’s private club, meticoulously coordinating every detail and attracting the admiration of the high profile clientele. She was called upon to design events in private homes, area restaurants, and at the Hollywood Park Racetrack. Jennifer later served nearly eight years as the Special Event Coordinator at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia, organizing events for governors and high-level federal and state officials, and choreographing numerous charity events including benefits for the Charlottesville-Albemarle Ronald McDonald House and the Virginia Film Festival. In the fall of 2004 Jennifer challenged herself even further by opening her own design and planning company, Jennifer Carroll Events. She serves clients who have a desire for a beautiful and memorable occasion whether it is a wedding, party, gala or conference. Jennifer listens to her clients and then creates the best version of their dream!
A recognized industry leader Jennifer Carroll Events has been featured on NBC and in The Knot and Virginia Bride magazines. She designs events all over the U.S. and in Europe. Jennifer is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Melissa got her first taste of the special events business over 12 years ago as a sports marketing coordinator for GEM Group (formerly Lang & Associates) where she was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of event marketing programs and promotions for Coca-Cola and MasterCard International’s sponsorship of the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, and U.S. Youth Soccer. Relocating to Los Angeles in 1997 allowed her to expand her event experience while working as a junior account executive for marketing communications firm Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli.
Primarily handling corporate public relations for clients such as Guinness Import Company, Schieffelin-Somerset, Phillip Morris and Kentucky Fried Chicken, she helped develop and execute campaigns for Guinness Win Your Own Pub in Ireland, Marlboro Team Penske, Tanqueray’s American AIDS Rides and KFC at the 70th Annual Academy Awards. A desire to move more specifically toward corporate and social special events led Melissa to join Sacks Productions in 1999 where she had the opportunity to train under one of LA’s preeminent special events producers, Sharon Sacks.  During her tenure at Sacks Productions she rose to the level of Senior Event Manager and was responsible for handling numerous high-profile events such as the wedding of Jennifer Lopez to Cris Judd, matchbox 20’s “Mad Season” CD Release Weekend, the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards After Party and the LOVE ROCKS Concert honoring Bono, as well as private events for Warner Bros. President and COO, Alan Horn and Pierce Brosnan.  She also managed a 40-person hospitality program for Univision Communications in Tokyo, Japan for World Cup 2002. Joining Jennifer Carroll Events in August 2007, Melissa brings a wealth of corporate and social event experience, as well as an uncompromising eye and a passion for detail.  Whether she is assisting Jennifer, or coordinating her own events, her organizational skills and style guarantee success.
	Jenny Yetman, a native of Florida, moved to Charlottesville in July of 2007 to be near family and actively seek her first career. She became enamored with event planning after orchestrating her parents 25th wedding anniversary party in the Fall of 2006. Through this event she faced the challenges and delights of party planning by experiencing first hand the many steps involved in creating a truly memorable event. The evening was filled with laughter and the happiness she saw in her parent’s eyes that night sparked her curiosity that she may have found her calling! In March of 2008 she joined the staff of Jennifer Carroll Events where her superb attention to detail, cheerful can-do attitude and cool head in the midst of even the busiest of events has quickly made her an invaluable addition to the team!
